Hi and welcome!

Thank you for partnering with me on the Power to Change schoolies mission trip. 
 
 I'd like to tell you a bit about why I chose this mission and how significant it is. 

Gold Coast Schoolies, as you may know, has an infamous reputation of drinking and partying - and huge social and peer pressure is put on school leavers to engage in these activities.

At a time in their lives when they're grappling with their identity, the future direction of their lives and learning how to be a young adult, our school leavers are surrounded by cultural influences telling them that fun comes from getting drunk and messing around with their mates.

Our mission aims to provide an alternative to this narrative. To give our young people a chance to engage with God, learn about Jesus and connect with the gospel message.
 
The passion God has placed on my heart to share his love with the world has led me to join this mission to impact young people at one of the most pivotal times in their lives.
