Hey there >W< This is Mavis ~
After 2022 I am so excited to join Mission Megumi a second time this year!? Our team will be going on university campuses in Nagoya to try and share / reach out to university students.
Why am I going again ?
A little bit about me, I have always been fascinated by Japanese culture since I was a kid. Through last mission megumi in 2022, it was my first ever mission trip and I did not have much experience doing outreach. To be honest, even finding students to chat to was really hard, however through that experience I learnt to trust GOD with my conversations and HE lead us to some very cool students.
In 2023 I went back to Nagoya on a family trip, and decided to ask if the students I met were willing to meet up again. To my surprise they were all very keen to meet even after one year !?Though most of them were all graduating and moving away from Nagoya soon... I could really see GOD using these friendships >W<
Why Japan :
🇯🇵 Japan despite being very prosperous and futuristic is also a place with a lot of emotional distress and turmoil.
🇯🇵Japan only has a 2% Christian population, meaning that most Japanese people will live their lives not having a chance to hear about Jesus.
If you also have a heart for 🇯🇵 Japan, please consider partnering with us in prayer or financially on a journey with GOD and see what HE has in store for our team >W<
