Hi, I am Richard, a new graduate from the University of Melbourne. Summer Missions is a time when students and young Christians get together, are trained in how to share the gospel of God, strengthen our faith, and go out sharing with Schoolies (recent year 12 graduates).

I have been following Jesus for more than one year. The journey with Jesus is not a single straight line, and during the year, my faith has experienced ups and downs. The last Winter Conference has encouraged me to participate in the Rye Summer Mission where I can continue to grow in my faith!

Summer mission gives me a chance to talk with schoolies about the faith, and learn how to communicate with others about Christianity and God. The summer mission will be held at Rye, Victoria in this November. I expect to improve my faith to prepare for the conversation with anyone who is interested in knowing God!

Thank you for partnering with Power to Change in equipping young Christians with the skills and vision to reach those around them with the gospel. In these uncertain times due to COVID 19, Summer and Global Missions may need to adjust or change the way we run missions. Any unused funds due to these adjustments will be used to assist students to better reach their campus.
