I’m excited to share with you that I’ll be going on a mission trip to Fremantle near the end of this year! I will be joining a team of students and missionaries from across Australia who are united in the purpose of sharing the love of Christ with those who are yet to know him. We will be having conversations with people across the city, taking care to listen to their thoughts and beliefs, while also giving them the opportunity to consider and respond to the truth of the gospel. 

While at university, I have had many wonderful opportunities to share the gospel with students on campus and to go on mission trips with Power to Change. Through my involvement in campus ministry, I learnt that it is God who has the power to change and transform peoples’ hearts. I give thanks to God for the community of Christians at Power to Change who share the same heart to glorify God and to fulfil the Great Commission. Not only has my time with Power to Change equipped me with useful skills for evangelism and discipleship, but it has helped me to understand what it means to be faithful to God in every aspect of life. As I wrap up my time at Monash University and Power to Change, I am still fully motivated to make the most of every opportunity to share the gospel with those who are yet to know Christ. God rejoices when the lost repent and turn to him, and he invites us to share in the same joy as we share the good news.

I would like to personally invite you to partner with us in prayer as we embark on this mission trip. We do mission and proclaim the gospel not in our own strength, but fully dependent on God’s strength and wisdom in every situation. Therefore your support through prayer really matters, and we would love it if you could partner with us in this way. Please pray for the unbelievers whom we will meet, that God opens their hearts to hear and respond to the gospel. Pray also for members who are joining the team for the first time, that they may grow in faith and maturity. We will keep you updated throughout the mission trip through social media posts and email newsletters, so keep an eye out for those.
